Role details
A two-year community mobilization fellowship for recent Ugandan graduates to lead primary education initiatives in rural districts.
- Recruit and train Community Education Volunteers, prepare teachers for literacy and numeracy camps, and support four schools across 16 villages.
- Build trust with local leaders, schools, and government officials; oversee program delivery and advocate for community engagement in education.
- Complete 1.5 months of intensive leadership and program training before two-year rural deployment in clusters of five Fellows.
- Requires Bachelor's degree earned within two years of application and motorcycle riding proficiency.
- Receive furnished housing, monthly stipend, airtime, mobile data, and motorcycle; supported by Regional Coordinators.
