Brains Fellowship

A four-month remote fellowship training scientists to design and launch ambitious coordinated research programs.
- Develop a research program idea through weekly mentorship from DARPA and ARPA leaders, peer discussion, and fireside chats with founders.
- Create a written brief and presentation to pitch your program to potential funders and collaborators at the end-of-program showcase.
- Requires PhD or PhD-level research experience plus several years of work experience in and outside academia.
- No program cost; travel to two in-person events (kickoff and showcase) reimbursed.
- Remote, part-time (~10 hours weekly) from January to May 2027; cohort of 16 fellows across any scientific field.
