Mission

What you will drive

The Account Director has overall responsibility for a specific account (or set of accounts) including growth in orders, share of customer spend, and customer satisfaction. The manager leads an account team including direct reports.

Responsibilities include:

  • Become a valued, long-term strategic partner with the customer's senior executives and execute the strategic account process
  • Achieve or go beyond order targets for the account and maximize customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Manage the total customer relationship with Hitachi Energy and develop relationships at all levels including C-Level
  • Lead the development and implementation of the account plan and coverage plan to drive growth in assigned accounts

What makes you a great fit

Typical qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical (engineering) or business discipline required, MBA preferred
  • 12+ years of experience preferred with diversity of experience across multiple products, customers, countries, and market segments
  • Proven ability to work in a matrixed team environment and must be able to motivate and influence others
  • Experience with customers including sales, problem resolution, and relationship building with strong business acumen
