US Center for Mental Health & Sport Fundraising and Development AMERICORPS VISTA Position

• Strengthen fundraising by expanding donor outreach, supporting campaigns, securing corporate sponsorships, assisting with grant writing, and planning community fundraising events.
• Grow social media presence by creating consistent content, collaborating with athlete ambassadors, and managing a content calendar to increase engagement and reach.
• Refine the instructor training program by updating training materials, enhancing the LMS platform, and onboarding instructors to build a national network.

This role helps expand mental health education and resources to low-income communities across the country, reducing stigma and building healthier athletic communities.

• Passionate about mental health, sports, and social impact.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience or interest in fundraising, social media and marketing, program development, or digital content creation preferred.
• Self-starter who can manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

This is an AmeriCorps VISTA position with a living allowance and a completion bonus (education award or cash). Members gain hands-on experience in nonprofit development, build professional skills, expand their network in sport, and become eligible for Non-Competitive Eligibility (NCE) for federal jobs.
