Transmission and Distribution Civil Engineer - Remote (U.S.)

• Perform engineering analysis and design for overhead transmission lines, including structure loading, conductor sag/tension, foundations, and line routing.
• Prepare construction packages including plan & profile drawings, structure selection, material specifications, and engineering calculations.
• Support project lifecycle activities including scope development, cost estimating, scheduling, and field support.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with codes and standards.

This role contributes to the development and maintenance of reliable electrical transmission and distribution infrastructure, enabling the delivery of clean energy and supporting the transition to a sustainable energy grid.

• Familiarity with civil and structural design aspects for transmission and distribution.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, PLS-TOWER, and related tools.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (NESC, ASCE).
• Ability to participate in field walks, create field sketches, and climb ladders as necessary.
