Talent Acquisition Specialist

• Coordinate hiring teams in executing searches from requisition to hire, including developing materials, posting jobs, screening candidates, conducting interviews and reference calls.
• Administer the applicant tracking system and build hiring analytics.
• Propose and implement programs to source and recruit diverse, qualified applicant pools.
• Contribute to onboarding and other culture-focused initiatives.

This role directly supports the pro-democracy movement by attracting and hiring exceptional talent to Protect Democracy, a non-partisan organization dedicated to preventing democratic decline and authoritarianism.

• At least three years of full-time work experience in recruiting, hiring, talent acquisition, or talent coordination.
• Experience independently conceptualizing, developing, and implementing new initiatives.
• Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Enthusiasm for providing excellent candidate experience and fostering collaborative relationships with diverse backgrounds.
