Strategic Communications Advisor

• Shape and deliver strategic communications that amplify the Director's voice and strengthen Oxfam's public profile on inequality, poverty, and social justice.
• Draft compelling content, manage the Director's media presence, and support crisis communications.
• Coordinate high-impact engagements for the Director at global summits and media appearances, aligned with Oxfam's strategic goals.

This role amplifies African perspectives in global debates on inequality and social justice, helping turn bold ideas into real influence for equality and justice across the continent.

• Strong track record in media, public engagement, and influencing; excellent writing and editing skills with sharp news sense.
• Ability to translate complex policy issues into compelling messages for high-level audiences.
• Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills to build relationships across diverse contexts (governments, civil society, international partners).
• Highly organized, thrives in fast-paced environments, and able to manage multiple priorities. Fluency in English required; French and Portuguese advantageous.
