Development Manager - Individual Giving

• Conduct prospect research to identify potential major and mid-level donors and build detailed profiles.
• Support cultivation and stewardship of individual donors, including communications, meetings, and briefings.
• Manage the Evergreen Circle recurring giving program, focusing on acquisition, retention, and communications.
• Coordinate donor engagement activities and events such as house parties and donor trips.

This role directly supports KickStart's mission to empower smallholder farmers in sub-Saharan Africa to climb out of poverty by securing individual donations that fund the distribution of low-cost irrigation tools and training.

• Minimum 3-5 years of nonprofit fundraising experience with success in individual giving or development operations.
• Experience with prospect research and donor database systems (Bloomerang or similar CRM).
• Strong written communication skills for donor-facing materials.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with cultural competence and discretion.

Full-time remote position based in the US. Periodic travel required, including possible trips to San Francisco, New York City, and Nairobi, Kenya. Salary not specified.
