Staff Attorney (Maryland)

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents including answers, motions, and court filings.
• Represent clients during FBI interrogations and assist trial attorneys with litigation.
• Engage in alternative dispute resolution and draft demand letters to resolve civil rights cases.
• Participate in speaking engagements and lead educational sessions on civil rights issues.

This role directly protects the civil rights of American Muslims, combats discrimination, and promotes justice through legal advocacy and community education.

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 3 years' prior associate-level experience in civil rights.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral skills.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments and work independently and in a team.

Starting salary of $83,100.00 (non-negotiable). Full-time position with FLSA exempt status. Additional benefits not specified.
