Sr. Project Engineer (MicroGrids & Renewables)

• Lead full-cycle engineering design of microgrid systems including solar PV, BESS, backup generators, and hybrid controls architectures.
• Develop and own system single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, equipment specifications, and design packages from 30% through IFC.
• Serve as primary technical lead on multiple concurrent projects from NTP through commissioning and handoff.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, contributing to engineering standards and design tools.

This role directly enables reliable, clean energy access for remote and underserved communities across North America, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and enhancing grid resilience.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or closely related technical field.
• 7+ years of engineering experience with strong focus on solar PV, BESS, generators, and/or microgrid systems.
• Proficiency with electrical design tools (AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, ETAP, or equivalent).
• Strong working knowledge of battery energy storage systems including BMS architecture, integration, and safety requirements.
