Mission

What you will drive

  • Develop and execute strategic campaigns focused on the protection of red wolves and other key species in the Southeast.
  • Mobilize support for forests, rivers, aquatic species, and watershed protections through community engagement and coalition building.
  • Create and manage multimedia content, including action alerts, op-eds, press releases, and social media posts.
  • Represent the Center at events, meetings, and public forums, and lobby decision-makers.

What makes you a great fit

  • Campaign or organizing experience: 3+ years for Staff, 7+ years for Senior.
  • Deep commitment to protecting species and their habitats.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to lead conversations and meetings.
  • Experience working effectively within coalitions, including diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices.

Benefits

What's in it for you

Salary range: $55,000 - $90,000 depending on tier (Staff or Senior). Remote position with occasional travel. Full-time, regular employment. The Center is committed to diversity and inclusion.
