Software Engineer III, Forward Deployed

• Maximize APEX platform adoption and effectiveness through direct stakeholder engagement, training, support, and feedback integration.
• Design and deliver customized training sessions, office hours, and content to empower teams with AI-native solutions.
• Develop front-end interfaces and backend services for agentic AI workflows, translating stakeholder needs into technical requirements.

This role accelerates the deployment of advanced nuclear energy solutions by enabling teams to leverage AI-powered tools, directly contributing to X-energy's mission of setting the industry standard for nuclear deployment speed and operational excellence.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in customer-facing technical roles.
• Strong expertise in agentic AI workflows, React, TypeScript, AWS, and modern development workflows.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
