Senior Software Engineer

• Partner with Engineering Lead to design and implement scalable microservices, serverless functions, and data pipelines.
• Define devops best practices, implement configuration management and observability systems.
• Mentor junior team members, conduct code reviews, and maintain technical documentation.

This role directly contributes to reducing the carbon footprint of buildings by developing and scaling an AI-powered platform that optimizes energy use, helping communities and schools save money and the planet.

• 5+ years backend development experience with microservice-oriented SaaS platforms.
• 3+ years hands-on cloud infrastructure management (AWS preferred).
• Expert-level Python proficiency (SQLAlchemy, Alembic, FastAPI).
• Strong proficiency with Docker, SQL, API design, and observability tools.

Annual salary: $135k - $165k. Fully remote role with travel for partner visits and conferences. Small, collaborative team culture with high autonomy.
