Role details
Lead a new animal welfare strategy team conducting research and consulting to help funders and organizations reduce farm animal suffering.
- Manage consulting intake, research priorities, and the annual Animal Advocacy Strategy Forum; build new processes for project selection and impact measurement.
- Hire and manage a multidisciplinary team including economists and specialists; set quality standards and research processes.
- Conduct decision-oriented research on topics like alternative proteins, welfare technology, and farm economics to inform stakeholder decisions.
- Requires 5+ years decision-oriented research experience, demonstrated management or mentorship capability, and strong research judgment under uncertainty.
- Consulting experience, animal advocacy knowledge, and expertise in economics, policy, M&E, or animal science strongly preferred.
