Job description
Role details
Lead research and stakeholder engagement on neglected farmed and wild invertebrate welfare, commissioning analysis and coordinating field efforts.
- Run shallow intervention reviews and conduct techno-economic analysis to inform funder and organizational decisions on invertebrate welfare projects.
- Commission external contractors and consultants, manage their deliverables, and convene organizations working on shared problems.
- Present findings to funders and conferences; build relationships with experts, organizations, and industry stakeholders in the field.
- Requires strong analytical judgment under time pressure, ability to manage external work, and quantitative reasoning skills.
- Requires commitment to terrestrial invertebrate welfare and comfort with deep uncertainty and sensitive information handling.
