Mission

What you will drive

  • Perform electro-magnetic transient (EMT) studies including subsynchronous resonance, control interaction, ferroresonance, TOV, SOV, insulation coordination, harmonic, TRV, energization, lightning, etc.
  • Develop local system EMT models, conduct disturbance ride through model tuning, and perform PSCAD/PSSE model benchmarking.
  • Conduct steady state studies such as load flow and short circuit, and provide advisory support to generation, large load, and merchant transmission developers.
  • Lead, teach, and mentor junior level Power Systems Engineers.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 4+ years of experience in power system modelling and power system studies.
  • Bachelorโ€™s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering with power system emphasis.
  • Proficiency in power system modelling software such as PSCAD, EMTP, PSSE, Digsilent Powerfactory, ETAP, CYMCAP.
  • Strong understanding of relevant industry standards such as IEEE/IEC/CICRE.
