Senior Power Systems Engineer

• Perform high-level bulk power system studies using software such as PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen, and TARA
• Lead and mentor electrical engineers in power system steady state, short circuit, and dynamic & transient stability analyses
• Conduct advanced studies like Sub-synchronous Resonance and develop mitigation plans for system issues
• Support business development and process improvement efforts

This role contributes to designing the grid of the future, enabling reliable and sustainable electricity transmission, which is critical for integrating renewable energy and combating climate change.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; power systems emphasis preferred
• 5+ years professional experience as a Power Systems Engineer performing impact studies
• Experience with power systems software such as PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen, and TARA
• Strong organizational, communication, and report writing skills
