Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer

• Support manufacturing operations by responding to test station issues and troubleshooting hardware/software problems.
• Maintain and improve existing manufacturing test stations, including test software deployment and provisioning.
• Drive the strategy and approach for PCBA test in manufacturing, ensuring high reliability and scalability.
• Update and manage test pass/fail requirements, and drive root cause analysis for non-conformances.

This role ensures the reliability and scalability of satellite manufacturing tests, directly supporting Planet's mission to provide unprecedented Earth observation data for environmental and humanitarian applications.

• 6+ years of experience in PCBA testing or manufacturing electrical test development and sustainment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Aerospace or similar engineering discipline.
• Ability to read and interpret PCBA schematics and troubleshoot hardware.
• Experience with JTAG/boundary scan, bed-of-nail testers, functional tests, and programming in Python.
