Accounts Payable Specialist

• Process and post monthly vendor invoices in the ERP system, batch invoices for payment, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Generate and analyze cost reports to identify missing costs, incorrect coding, or unpaid invoices, and take corrective actions.
• Investigate discrepancies in vendor accounts, resolve non-payment issues, and maintain vendor relationships to prevent service interruptions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and suggest process improvements for the AP team.

By ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors, you help maintain strong supplier relationships and uninterrupted service for customers, supporting RTS's mission to create a more sustainable waste management system.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and other computer systems; experience with Accounting/ERP systems preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
