Senior Security Engineer

• Partner with engineering teams to perform security reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments for product features, APIs, mobile applications, and backend services.
• Develop and maintain scalable security tools and pipelines to automate vulnerability detection, dependency scanning, and security testing across the SDLC.
• Contribute to security architecture reviews, bug bounty program operations, and incident response for Lime's applications and services.
• Embed security into development workflows, mentor engineers, and drive security-by-default practices.

This role directly strengthens Lime's security posture, protecting millions of riders and the environment by ensuring the safety and reliability of shared, carbon-free transportation infrastructure.

• 5+ years of experience in product security, application security, or security engineering.
• Expertise in mobile security (iOS, Android), API security, cloud security (AWS, GCP), and secure development practices (SAST, DAST, SCA).
• Experience with detection engineering, vulnerability management, and bug bounty programs.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work in a lean, remote-first environment.

Base salary range determined by location and experience; may include discretionary annual performance bonus and equity. Remote-first culture with a requirement to reside in Canada.
