Senior Manager, Data and Analytics

• Own how Basta measures and monitors progress toward its goals, building and maintaining dashboards and BI tools that non-technical teams actually use.
• Partner with Development to translate outcomes data into compelling narratives for funders and grant reporting, and equip Revenue and external-facing teams with data-backed materials.
• Build, maintain, and evolve data infrastructure including warehouse, ETL pipelines, and system integrations; partner with Product and Engineering to ensure data from Seekr is structured and usable.
• Proactively surface trends, gaps, and opportunities across programs and partnerships, and identify where data value is being left on the table.

This role directly advances economic mobility for first-generation students by ensuring Basta's data systems reliably measure and communicate the impact of its programs, enabling better decision-making and stronger support for students.

• Strong hands-on SQL skills and solid experience in data analysis; ability to work through complex datasets independently and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Significant experience with data modeling tools (dbt) and building dashboards/BI tools (Lookr, Metabase, Tableau) for non-technical audiences.
• Direct or related experience in the nonprofit or impact sector, including evaluating program data, designing outcomes measurement, and funder-facing reporting.
• Approximately 5-8 years working with data in a professional setting, with meaningful time in the nonprofit or impact sector.
