Grant Writer

• Write compelling grant proposals for government and private foundation funders
• Manage the full grant lifecycle: research, writing, submission, and reporting
• Collaborate with program staff to gather data and prepare budgets

This role directly supports nonprofit organizations in New York City by securing funding for critical human services, education, and arts programs, enabling them to help people thrive.

• Excellent writing skills: clear, concise, creative, and caring
• Detail-oriented with strong proofreading and organizational abilities
• Experience with both government and private foundation grants (at least 10 proposals)
• Familiarity with human services sectors (homeless services, housing, workforce development, etc.)

Part-time, flexible remote work (15-20 hours/week) with potential to increase. Long-term engagement. Small, supportive team environment.
