Mission
What you will drive
- Conduct regular on-site environmental monitoring throughout all phases of construction to ensure compliance with environmental permits, regulatory requirements, and environmental protection plans.
- Document site conditions, contractor compliance, and environmental issues using detailed field notes, photographs, and daily monitoring reports.
- Lead fish salvage operations in accordance with provincial and federal regulations, applying fish capture techniques including minnow trapping, electrofishing, and seining.
- Assess, install, and maintain erosion and sediment control measures and monitor water quality parameters to verify compliance with regulatory thresholds.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Diploma or degree in environmental science, biology, natural resources, or a related discipline.
- Registered Professional Biologist (RPBio) or equivalent professional designation.
- 3+ years of experience conducting environmental monitoring on construction projects.
- Electrofishing certification and demonstrated experience leading fish salvage operations.
- Strong commitment to health and safety and adherence to established procedures.
- Knowledge of federal, provincial, and territorial environmental regulations related to construction.

Anticipated annual base pay is $76,819–$98,928 (CAD).
