Job description

Lead legal and compliance operations across US and UK charities and fiscally sponsored AI safety projects.
- Draft and negotiate agreements, manage fiscal sponsorship intake and grant compliance, oversee time allocation across entities.
- Build policy framework covering gift acceptance, conflicts of interest, anti-fraud, sanctions screening, and safeguarding.
- Own privacy program under UK and EU GDPR: records of processing, DPIAs, data subject requests, vendor agreements.
- Manage employment compliance, worker classification, and onboarding through PEO/EOR across multiple countries.
- Requires significant nonprofit compliance or in-house legal experience; deep US or UK charity knowledge with working fluency in the other.
