Senior Associate, Business Development (Asia Pacific)

• Secure $1 million in annual revenue for HOT's work in Asia Pacific through successful grant applications.
• Manage all phases of grant management including grant calendar, writing, compliance, and reporting.
• Research, plan, and write grant proposals for various funder types (foundation, bilateral, multilateral).
• Collaborate with program teams to assemble compelling funding proposals and convey impact of open data and digital technology.

This role directly supports humanitarian and development projects by securing funding for open mapping initiatives, enabling communities to use open data for disaster response and sustainable development in the Asia Pacific region.

• Experience in business development, grant writing, and fundraising for humanitarian or international development organizations.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and produce well-researched funding applications.
• Highly organized, process-focused, and proactive with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Innovative thinking and creativity to package programs and vision to attract donor support.
