Job description
Senior leader engaging state policymakers on AI policy, building relationships and advising strategy for a nonprofit collaborative.
- Engage governors' offices and state officials to understand needs, build relationships, and extend organizational reach across states.
- Advise Executive Director on state political dynamics and landscape to inform organizational strategy and priorities.
- Partner with policy team to connect states with expertise, advocacy organizations, and peer networks on AI policy.
- Requires 12+ years in senior policy roles, ideally in governors' offices, Capitol Hill, or comparable advocacy experience.
- Track record of sound judgment, nonpartisan trust, and commitment to advancing thoughtful AI policy essential.
