Job description
Develop contingency planning and response frameworks for high-consequence AI incidents, translating technical risks into practical preparedness strategies.
- Design tabletop exercises and scenario-based preparedness activities; assess gaps in existing response mechanisms and institutional coordination.
- Engage government, industry, and technical experts on AI incident preparedness; contribute to research, recommendations, and briefings.
- Requires 10+ years in contingency planning, crisis management, emergency management, or cybersecurity incident response.
- Requires advanced degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Emergency Management, or related field; AI/autonomous systems familiarity essential.
- 10-month remote contract (20 hours/week) starting October 2026; independent contractor engagement.
