Senior Accountant

• Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes and prepare financial reports with variance analysis.
• Maintain accuracy in assigned accounting areas such as AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, and cash.
• Assist with audit documentation and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in nonprofit or public accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Sage Intacct preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and attention to detail.

Hybrid work environment (3 days in office) or remote for candidates in MT to ET zones. Office located in Long Island City, NY. Compensation details not specified.
