Community Development Manager

• Research and build strategy in new markets to increase brand visibility for the Parkinson's Foundation.
• Identify key stakeholders and community leaders to build a first-year event committee for Moving Day walks.
• Recruit participants, sponsors, and volunteers to maximize participation and achieve revenue goals.
• Oversee logistical details for fundraising events, including vendor partnerships, permits, contracts, and expense management.

This role directly supports people living with Parkinson's disease by driving revenue and relationships for fundraising walks, which fund research and improve care.

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant peer-to-peer fundraising experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make sound judgments in a remote role.
• Excellent written, oral, and communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented leader with strong organizational skills and willingness to travel ~20%.

Competitive salary ($65,000–$75,000) plus comprehensive benefits package. Remote work with preference for New Jersey, Texas, or Rocky Mountains area.
