Funding to launch a new AI safety or biosecurity project or organization during its first 6–12 months.
- Receive $20k–$200k to cover living costs, compute, tools, and travel while testing your idea and building initial versions.
- Demonstrate a well-reasoned strategy, evidence you can execute it, and a concrete plan for your first few months.
- Submit monthly updates and a final report; return unspent funds if you stop before the grant ends.
- Gain introductions to follow-on funders, advisers, potential hires, and early users in the network.
- Solo founders welcome; no prior BlueDot course or specific mission alignment required.
