People Operations Lead

Lead people operations, recruiting, and employee experience for a growing nonprofit focused on biosecurity and synthetic biology risks.
- Build scalable HR systems, policies, and processes including performance reviews, compensation, benefits, and employee lifecycle management.
- Own end-to-end recruiting: define roles, source talent, design assessments, manage pipelines, and close hires.
- Coordinate quarterly team retreats and selected external events and workshops with operations colleagues.
- Requires strong US People Operations experience including benefits administration, employment compliance, and HR infrastructure scaling.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership, clear communication, and ability to work in ambiguous, mission-driven environments.

The Mirror Biology Dialogues Fund is a nonprofit dedicated to understanding and averting future risks from “mirror life”, synthetic versions of naturally occurring organisms in which all biomolecules are present in “mirror image” forms.
