What you will drive
Security engineer role hardening grant evaluation software against AI-assisted attacks and protecting sensitive philanthropic data.
- Strengthen authentication, authorization, and access controls; secure secrets, dependencies, and infrastructure across applications.
- Identify and address security risks in AI-generated code and LLM features handling sensitive data.
- Spend first 2–6 months full-time on security, then split time between security and general engineering.
- Requires software security background with experience identifying vulnerabilities and implementing protections in production.
- Full-stack web development, database management, and access control experience essential.
