Role details
Oversee implementations of the Welfare Footprint Framework and advance core methodological work in animal welfare science across species.
- Implement and apply the Welfare Footprint Framework; critically review research across terrestrial and aquatic species for methodological soundness.
- Write, revise, and verify scientific papers, statistical analyses, and AI-generated outputs; ensure all claims are independently verified.
- Present the framework at conferences and workshops; respond to substantive scientific challenges to the method.
- PhD in evolutionary biology, physiology, veterinary science, neurobiology, or animal welfare science with peer-reviewed publication record.
- Exceptional critical review abilities, scientific breadth across species, strong quantitative reasoning, and rigorous approach to source verification.
