Research Manager, AIxHardware

• Manage ERA's AIxHardware Research Fellowship, supporting fellows in scoping and developing their research projects.
• Review and evaluate applications to identify candidates for the fellowship programme.
• Match fellows with mentors and help scope research projects aligned with their interests.
• Direct and oversee up to 5 research projects, providing guidance on planning, research methods, and publishing outputs.

This role advances AI safety by supporting research at the intersection of AI and hardware, fostering talent and projects that mitigate risks from advanced AI systems.

• Experience managing research projects or fellowships.
