Research Lead, AI Cyber Testing

Core responsibilities:

• Lead RAND's AI cyber evaluation agenda, assessing offensive cyber capabilities of frontier AI models
• Manage research budgets and personnel, overseeing technical research and policy analysis projects
• Lead multidisciplinary teams developing benchmarks for AI model performance across the full attack lifecycle
• Communicate findings through technical analyses and policy briefs for government agencies and industry leaders
• Shape recommendations for the White House, regulatory agencies, intelligence community, and national governments

This role creates positive change by assessing AI cyber threats and shaping policy recommendations for government agencies, helping to secure frontier AI systems and protect against potential cyber attacks.
