Research Intern

• Conduct desk research and interviews to produce content for the CIVICUS Lens platform and the State of Civil Society Report.
• Create simple visuals for social media dissemination of research outputs.
• Gain research and communications experience while deepening knowledge of civil society trends.

This role supports CIVICUS’ mission to defend people power by producing research that monitors civic freedoms and strengthens civil society globally.

• Degree in social sciences or relevant field (or near completion).
• Excellent writing skills and fluency in English.
• Strong interest in civil society and commitment to CIVICUS’ values.
• Ability to work independently in a diverse, multicultural virtual team.

USD 600 per month stipend; part-time remote internship with flexible location; opportunity to contribute to global civil society research.
