Job description
Explore interventions to improve managed honey bee welfare in commercial pollination services through research and stakeholder engagement.
- Conduct desk research and develop intervention ideas; meet with experts in pollination, beekeeping, and entomology to gather feedback.
- Produce internal reports and models assessing viability of potential interventions to guide organizational prioritization.
- Requires demonstrated ability to understand research in entomology, agricultural science, animal welfare, or ecology.
- Requires comfort with uncertainty, transparent reasoning in writing, and high autonomy in a small, goal-driven environment.
- One-year full-time position with potential conversion to permanent role leading research program or field deployment.
