Role details
Lead research and evaluation for an animal advocacy organization, shaping intervention strategies and assessing incubated organizations across Africa.
- Conduct ecosystem mapping, landscape analysis, and cost-effectiveness analyses to inform where the organization works and which initiatives to support.
- Design and execute monitoring and evaluation across all programs, from outreach through incubation, including data collection and honest impact reporting.
- Evaluate incubation proposals, assess pilot outcomes, and support funding decisions through rigorous due diligence and analysis.
- Requires strong applied research skills combining desk research, stakeholder interviews, and quantitative analysis with ability to reach clear conclusions under uncertainty.
- Strong interest in effective animal advocacy and African contexts essential; experience with program evaluation, cost-effectiveness analysis, or grantmaking preferred.
