Regional Campaign Manager, Central

Lead campaigns for clean energy projects in the assigned region, working with partner organizations and local leaders to mobilize volunteers and win siting approvals primarily at the county and township level.

• Develop campaign plans, including goals, strategies, and tactical timelines, in collaboration with partners, and track campaign milestones and seize opportunities.
• Provide support to partner organizations and volunteer leaders through regular check-in calls, training sessions, and creation of advocacy materials.
• Build relationships with organizations in the assigned region, including environmental, labor, faith, farming, social justice, and business groups, in collaboration with Greenlight America's partnerships team.
• Oversee grant agreements with partner organizations, ensure deliverables are met, engage in regular reporting of campaign data, work with consultants, and manage campaign budgets.

This role creates positive change by mobilizing grassroots support to advance clean energy projects at the local level, contributing to the nation's clean energy transition and reducing reliance on fossil fuels.

• 3+ years of relevant experience in grassroots organizing, issue advocacy, community engagement, political campaigns, coalition management, or similar, with a successful track record of achieving ambitious campaign outcomes (local-level experience is a strong plus).
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail, with experience working with partner organizations and volunteers.
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, and comfort talking to people at all levels of expertise and seniority, along with experience with digital campaigning tools and tactics.
• Willingness to meet people where they are, build alliances across the political spectrum, think creatively, take risks, objectively evaluate results, and iterate in a fast-paced environment, with a passion for accelerating the clean energy transition.

Salary Range: $75,000-$100,000.
