React Frontend Engineer

• Design, build and maintain Next.js microfrontends and shared libraries in a monorepo.
• Provide solutions from design to deployment, supporting business stakeholders to identify changes that further the digital business plan.
• Work in a cross-functional product squad alongside engineers, testers, product owners, business analysts, and UX designers.

By building and maintaining digital services for ScottishPower, you help accelerate the transition to renewable energy and support the company's Net Zero goals, contributing to a more sustainable future.

• Hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, Next.js (App Router), Node.js, and monorepo workflows.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs, testing with Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright/Cypress.
• Good knowledge of Agile and Scrum delivery processes, familiarity with CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins).
• Accessibility-first mindset with practical application of WCAG 2.2 AA.

Salary up to £65,500 + up to 10% bonus & other excellent benefits. Includes 36 days annual leave, pension with up to 10% company contribution, share schemes, electric vehicle schemes, cycle to work, and various discounts.
