Prospect Research Associate

• Conduct thorough research to develop high-quality donor profiles for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.
• Identify and qualify new donor prospects by analyzing wealth, affinity, and engagement indicators.
• Partner with fundraising teams to deliver timely research insights and improve prospect research processes.

This role directly supports Rainforest Trust's mission to protect imperiled tropical habitats and endangered species by enabling strategic donor engagement and fundraising, which funds conservation projects worldwide.

• Prior experience in prospect research within nonprofit fundraising, preferably major/principal gifts.
• Proficiency with donor research tools (e.g., iWave, RelSci, LexisNexis) and CRM (Salesforce).
• Strong analytical and process-oriented mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.

Salary range: $58,000-$65,000 annually. Remote-first organization with occasional travel. Benefits as per careers page.
