Mission
What you will drive
- Lead and represent CWS's EPRR strategy within the assigned southern region, engaging with external partners like state VOAD, LTRG, faith-based partners, and emergency management.
- Develop understanding of challenges faced by CWS offices and vulnerable communities, propose solutions, and implement EPRR interventions.
- Conduct preparedness training, provide resources, and build network connections; deploy to disaster-affected communities to support response and recovery.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Bachelor's degree in social services, disaster management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in disaster programming, including emergency response across preparedness, response, and recovery.
- Knowledge of US disaster response mechanisms and services at local, state, and federal levels.
- Fluency in English; fluency in a refugee language (Pashto, Dari, Ukrainian, Russian, Spanish) strongly desired.
