Power Systems Engineer III

• Perform power system impact studies including Steady State, Short Circuit, and Dynamic Stability using software such as PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen, and TARA.
• Conduct full generator interconnection studies and ensure renewable/storage projects meet Voltage Ride-Through requirements.
• Prepare technical study reports and maintain data for all studies.

This role helps design a modern, secure, and resilient grid by integrating renewable and storage resources, contributing to the transition to clean energy and reducing environmental impact.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; emphasis in power systems preferred.
• 2-4+ years of experience performing power system impact studies (Dynamic Stability, Load Flow, Steady State, Short Circuit).
• Experience with power systems software such as PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen, and TARA.
• Experience automating/programming in Python preferred.
