Job description
- Build steady state models for solar, wind, storage, and conventional generation projects.
- Build dynamic models for these technologies, interacting with equipment vendors to determine appropriate parameters.
- Perform model quality tests and benchmarking of dynamic models in various tools per ISO requirements.
- Perform distribution/transmission import/export analyses, generator capability studies, and provide site selection support.
- Assist in submission of generation and load interconnection applications to various ISOs (e.g., ERCOT).
- Guide clients through ERCOT's generator interconnection process and answer process-related questions.

What makes you a great fit
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a power system emphasis (Master's or PhD is a plus).
- Proficient in at least one transmission planning tool: PSS/E, TARA, ETAP, PSCAD, Aspen One-Liner, or PowerWorld Simulator.
- Prior experience with ERCOT's generator interconnection process and/or transmission service providers in Texas.
- Knowledge of EMT-based tools (e.g., EMTP/PSCAD) is an asset.
- Experience leveraging AI and automation tools responsibly.
- Proven team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
