Mission

What you will drive

  • Build steady state models for solar, wind, storage, and conventional generation projects.
  • Build dynamic models for these technologies, interacting with equipment vendors to determine appropriate parameters.
  • Perform model quality tests and benchmarking of dynamic models in various tools per ISO requirements.
  • Perform distribution/transmission import/export analyses, generator capability studies, and provide site selection support.
  • Assist in submission of generation and load interconnection applications to various ISOs (e.g., ERCOT).
  • Guide clients through ERCOT's generator interconnection process and answer process-related questions.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a power system emphasis (Master's or PhD is a plus).
  • Proficient in at least one transmission planning tool: PSS/E, TARA, ETAP, PSCAD, Aspen One-Liner, or PowerWorld Simulator.
  • Prior experience with ERCOT's generator interconnection process and/or transmission service providers in Texas.
  • Knowledge of EMT-based tools (e.g., EMTP/PSCAD) is an asset.
  • Experience leveraging AI and automation tools responsibly.
  • Proven team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
