Mission
What you will drive
- Serve as the strategic financial partner for the National Collaborative for Health Equity (NCHE), acting as a liaison between NCHE and New Venture Fund's accounting systems.
- Build, maintain, and update grant-specific and multi-year organizational budget planners, and advise on spend-down strategies including no-cost extension periods.
- Calculate staffing scenarios, track vacancies, and manage personnel allocations across multiple grants to optimize funding utilization.
- Reconcile NVF's monthly financial statements with NCHE's internal budgets, identify variances, initiate reclassifications, and prepare customized financial reports for major funders.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- 10–15 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, and/or providing fractional CFO services to 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations.
- Familiarity with portal systems of large fiscal sponsors (experience with New Venture Fund or Arabella Advisors highly preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets for financial modeling, as well as Google Drive and Google Docs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial audiences.
