Senior Director of Human Resources

• Design and execute global HR strategy aligned with mission and organizational priorities.
• Oversee all HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws across a globally distributed workforce.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Manage benefits portfolio, compensation structuring, and HR systems optimization.

This role enables The Max Foundation to accelerate health equity by building a strong, values-driven global team that delivers life-extending treatments to patients in low- and middle-income countries.

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role (HR Director, Head of HR, or similar); global or nonprofit experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s preferred. Senior-level certification (SHRM-SCP or SPHR) highly preferred.
• Proven track record of building an HR function, managing HR budgets, and overseeing benefits and compensation for a globally distributed workforce.
• Advanced proficiency with modern HRIS platforms and data analytics tools; strong knowledge of U.S. and global employment laws.
