Operations Director, Finance

Lead finance operations for an AI policy nonprofit managing complex multi-entity and multi-state compliance while supporting rapid organizational growth.
- Design financial systems and protocols for dual 501(c)(4) and 501(c)(3) entities across multiple states with audit-ready documentation.
- Manage day-to-day operations: budgeting, forecasting, board reporting, expense management, and external accountant coordination.
- Build automated processes, fraud prevention systems, and donation mechanisms to streamline financial management.
- Requires 8+ years finance experience plus cross-functional operations knowledge (HR, compliance, systems); multi-state and nonprofit experience preferred.
- Requires ability to communicate precisely, work independently on complex problems, and respond quickly to time-sensitive requests.
