Nonprofit Bookkeeper

• Manage monthly close process in QuickBooks Online, including bank, credit card, and payment platform reconciliations.
• Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliations and processing, and reconcile fundraising databases with financial records.
• Prepare and execute journal entries, manage receipt documentation, and track restricted grants.
• Generate financial reports with variance analysis narratives, prepare 1099s, and provide audit support.

This role directly supports nonprofit organizations by ensuring accurate financial management, enabling them to utilize limited resources effectively and amplify their positive impact on communities.

• Minimum 3 years providing bookkeeping services to multiple US 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations simultaneously.
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and strong working knowledge of Google Workspace, Excel/Google Sheets, Zoom, Slack, and cloud-based accounting tools.
• Degree in accounting or related field strongly preferred.
• Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, strong client service skills, and ability to manage 10-15 client accounts.
