National Council for Mental Wellbeing Membership & Business Operations Specialist

• Support proposal management by formatting documents, building templates, coordinating outreach, and tracking deliverables across multiple simultaneous efforts.
• Serve as a responsive point of contact for member inquiries, support CRM data management, and maintain Excel-based dashboards for membership reporting.
• Coordinate cross-team scheduling, documentation, and reporting for senior leadership, and flex into other areas of the Business & Strategy portfolio as needed.

This role directly supports the National Council for Mental Wellbeing's mission to make mental wellbeing a reality for everyone by enabling effective proposal management and membership engagement, which in turn drives policy change and capacity building for mental health and substance use treatment organizations.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience; minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in a nonprofit, health, or mission-driven organization.
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently, managing multiple concurrent priorities with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; sound judgment and problem-solving ability.

Salary range: $80,000 to $85,000.
